Known in Chinese as huang hua-li, rosewood is a dense hardwood that, when made into furniture using traditional Chinese manufacturing and finishing techniques, has a beautiful and elegant look. Rosewood furniture will last a lifetime and should retain value because of the quality of the workmanship and the nature and scarcity of the wood.

Oriental Decor manufactures only the highest-quality rosewood furniture using lumber which has been thoroughly aged and kiln-dried. We have custom-designed many of our lines--such as our sleigh bedroom sets and French provincial dining sets--and these products are available only at Oriental Decor showrooms and nowhere else in the Washington, DC, area. Our finishes are detailed, smooth and lustrous (or dull-finished, if you prefer), and the look is elegant!
